What a month it’s been: one new kitchen roof, four new toilet cubicles, one disabled access and baby-changing room, one new porch roof, metres and metres of new external woodwork and countless volunteer hours to clean, paint, clean, paint and clean once more and… we’re up and running again! The Hall looks fantastic and we can’t wait to share all the shiny newness with you.

There are so many people to thank – Stanford Building and Landscaping, our builders, all the associated trades and the wonderful residents of Ackleton who have pulled together to ensure that we’re ready for our regular bookings to restart. We’re grateful to the National Lottery, Severn Trent Community Fund, The Bernard SunleyFoundation, Twemlows Community Fund and Marches Energy Advice, without whose help we couldn’t have done it. In the last month, we’d also like to thank the William A Cadbury Foundation for their donation of £1000 towards our running costs and the West Brom Building Society for their £1000 contribution towards the build costs. We really are very fortunate.
