Life at the Village Hall is really getting back normal and the wheels of the ACG are turning fast to raise money needed for the renovations and, even more importantly, to bring our community together. In addition to the regular exercise classes with Lauren, Maggie Nock of Wolf Yoga will be running Hatha yoga sessions on the 4 Mondays in August. These classes will take place from 6:30 – 7:30 pm on the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th and you can book a place by calling Maggie on 07455078527 or by email: wolfyoga22@gmail.com. If these classes prove successful, Maggie hopes to continue into the autumn and beyond.

On the fundraising front, we have two very exciting events coming up: the first is by kind permission of Steve and Tracy Smith and is an open garden event at Ackleton House on the afternoon of Sunday 17th August. There’ll be tea and homemade scones, and all profits from the afternoon will go to the hall. Tickets can be purchased on the gate and there is parking in the field opposite, courtesy of John and Mary Chester.
The second, as mentioned last month, is our wine tasting with Pattingham Vineyard on Friday 12th September. We are grateful to Moydens Cheese, Deb at Knead-a-Loaf and Clearview Farm Shop for their support of this event and are looking forward to a delicious evening. Tickets for this event need to be purchased in advance, so contact the Trustees to book your place.

We hope to see some of you at these events.
