Now that the local elections in England and Wales are over, we are finally allowed to share our latest financial good news and it’s a big one! We have been granted a massive £20,000 from The National Lottery to refurbish our rather dated toilets. Work will start in the middle of August for four weeks and will include much-needed disabled access facilities and baby changing as well as new cubicles and wash basins.
Our St George’s Day Fish and Chip Supper was a huge success with over 60 people enjoying food, some traditional games and good company. We raised £400 into the bargain and the event is set to be an annual fixture in the calendar.
